Cancellation Policy

At Outrnr, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure fairness and clarity for both hosts and guests, we have established a standardized cancellation policy that applies to all listings on our platform.

Cancellation by Guest

Flexible Cancellation:

  • Guests may cancel their booking up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund, minus the Outrnr service fee.
  • If a guest cancels less than 14 days but more than 7 days before the scheduled check-in date, they will receive a 50% refund, minus the Outrnr service fee.
  • If a guest cancels 7 days or less before the scheduled check-in date, no refund will be issued.

Extenuating Circumstances:

  • In the event of a valid extenuating circumstance, such as severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or government-imposed travel restrictions, guests may be eligible for a full refund, including the Outrnr service fee.
  • Guests must provide documentation to support their claim of an extenuating circumstance.

Cancellation by Host

Host Cancellation:

  • If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the guest will receive a full refund, including the Outrnr service fee.
  • Hosts who cancel confirmed bookings may be subject to penalties, such as temporary or permanent loss of listing privileges, or additional fees.

Accommodations Not as Described:

  • If a guest arrives at a listing and finds that it does not match the description or is unsuitable for their stay, they should contact Outrnr immediately.
  • Outrnr will work with the guest to find alternative accommodations or provide a full refund, including the Outrnr service fee, if a suitable solution cannot be found.

Refunds and Processing Time

  • All refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation request.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the booking.

Modifications and Amendments

  • Guests may modify their booking dates or details up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date, subject to host approval.
  • Modifications made less than 14 days before the scheduled check-in date may be treated as a cancellation and are subject to the cancellation policy outlined above.

We encourage all guests and hosts to carefully review and understand our cancellation policy before making a booking or listing a property on Outrnr. By providing a clear and consistent policy, we aim to create a fair and transparent experience for all users of our platform.
